We've got a pretty big yard. At least once a week, Kb puts aside three hours and walks every inch of it. We inherited an old push mower from my dad. It does a swell job, but Kb had dreams of sitting while the grass got cut. Last week, a friend knew a friend that had a riding lawn mower. For free. All she needed was a few bolts and a little love. My dad and Kb remedied what ailed her and she was ready for her premiere.
They are both lookin pretty fly, don't ya think? Two minutes earlier, he was sporting a yellow t-shirt with those red shorty shorts. What a stud.
While he was struttin his stuff in the yard, I was making treats. It is my one year anniversary at work. They deserve something special for putting up with me for one whole year. (Now Kb is wondering what kind of treats he'll get for putting up with me for a year! Haha) I started off with a s'mores bar. I had the ingredients on hand, and it had all sorts of good reviews.
I put marshmallow fluff on half and marshmallows on the other half. Why I feel the need to rebel against the original recipe, I have no idea.
Should have just used the fluff.
They taste pretty good. A little chewy; I probably overcooked them a bit. And they're rather messy, especially the half with the marshmallows. I decided too messy for a mid-week staff meeting so they didn't make the cut. I bailed and made some peanut butter cookies to take.
