The Sign

Kb and I took a trip to Indy last week. I was driving. It was a point of contention. I don't want to talk about it.

Anyways, as we were driving down the highway, we came upon inevitable road construction and passed a sign that read:

Work Trucks
Use Left Lane

So naturally, I settled into the right lane so that I would avoid the work trucks that would be in the left lane.

Approximately one minute later, Kb asked when I was going to get into the left lane. I looked at him blankly and kept driving. He asked if I saw the sign. I said that I did. Then, trying to be patient, he said that there are work trucks in the area so I need to use the left lane to avoid them.

Wait. What?

Two seconds later, we were in stitches and debating whose interpretation of the sign was correct.

We are so different. It's great.

Oh and on the return trip, we saw a scrolling sign in that same road construction area. It stated:

Work Trucks
Should Use
Left Lane

he he he  :)
