Right now, I'm watching the Big Bang Theory.
Kenny forced me to watch it months ago. I'm stubborn with expanding my horizons of tv show preferences. I didn't start out well. The intro consists of a catchy song and a frame by frame journey from the beginning of time to present day and ends with the group of friends in their living room. When I say frame by frame, I mean pictures are flashing on the screen in speedy succession. I can't handle it. My eyes cross and my head starts to hurt.
But Kenny insisted. I gave it a couple of episodes, got to know the geeky dudes, and I was hooked. I just have to cover my eyes when I start to hear the theme song. Seriously, this show cracks me up, even if it's a rerun! Each character has unique idiosyncrasies that are hilarious. Once 7 PM rolls around, I can count on a laugh on the CW channel.
On a different note, I can sense that the world has been anxiously awaiting a raccoon update. About six weeks ago, we observed him, caught in the clutches of the telephone pole.
Welp, he's still there.
He's slipped a bit, and Kb anticipates that he will fall to the ground by the end of the month.
We haven't smelled a rank odor; we haven't been overrun by vultures grappling over the remains of the coon suspended on a telephone pole; and we haven't woken up to a dark, cold house with no electricity because the coon fell, causing a wire to snap. He's actually been a bit of a disappointment.
No excitement.
No drama.
Just hanging there.
